On a panel titled “Voices of a New Generation: Women and Religious Freedom”, Rachel Morrison represented the pro-life cause in a discussion centered on women’s rights and religious freedom. Speaking at Brigham Young University’s “Religious Freedom Annual Review”, Mrs. Morrison rejected claims that the pro-life movement stands at odds with the rights of women. Instead, she asserted that no person, regardless of gender, enjoys the right to end the life of another. Clarifying the substance of “women’s rights”, Mrs. Morrision defended the unfettered freedom of women to explore religious issues, ask serious questions about faith, and decline to assist in abortion procedures.
