David Brown

David J. Brown serves as Counsel in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he focuses on national security matters and congressional oversight. Before joining the Department of Justice, he practiced at Holtzman Vogel, concentrating on constitutional, election, and campaign-finance litigation in federal courts across the country.

While earning his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, he served in all three branches of the federal government, including with Judge Lawrence VanDyke on the Ninth Circuit, in the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division, and on the Senate Judiciary Committee under Senator John Kennedy.
