Gary Dunn is completing a clerkship for Judge Diarmuid O'Scannlain of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and will be joining the Tennessee Attorney General's Office in September 2025. He previously served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Steven Tiscione of the Eastern District of New York and worked as a commercial litigation associate at Venable LLP. He graduated in 2018 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law. In addition, he served as a research assistant to Professor Saikrishna Prakash and as the Director of Coaching and Training for Extramural Moot Court. He received his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from St. John's University, where he was a member of the Mock Trial Team.
