Katelyn Doering

Katelyn Doering is an attorney in the Solicitor General Division of the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, where she litigates constitutional challenges, issues of statutory interpretation, and other matters of vital interest to state government. Starting in fall 2026, she will clerk for Justice Mark S. Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court.

Katelyn received her J.D. cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where she was on the Notre Dame Law Review and served as President of the Federalist Society. Prior to law school, Katelyn interned for U.S. Senator Ben Sasse and was a legislative assistant for the Indiana Senate. Katelyn received her bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame with a minor in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE). While at Notre Dame, she was a member of the Heritage Foundation’s Young Leaders Program and an intern for Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels.
