Sarah is a law clerk for the Honorable Matthew E. Orso, United States District Judge for the Western District of North Carolina. She graduated magna cum laude from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in May 2024. At Campbell, Sarah served as Chief Articles Editor of the Campbell Law Review and as a member of the moot court team. Prior to clerking for Judge Orso, Sarah clerked for the Honorable Robert J. Conrad, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and worked as an associate on the litigation team at Alston & Bird in their Charlotte office. During law school, Sarah interned for the Honorable Tamara Barringer of the North Carolina Supreme Court, externed for the Honorable John M. Tyson of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and externed at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Sarah studied fine art in undergraduate, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Samford University. She worked as a graphic designer before going to law school.
